Application

● Bis(4-tert-butylcyclohexyl) peroxydicarbonate, XJ-BCHPC ,  an ester peroxide compound is a new type of initiator used in polymerization and copolymerization of vinylchloride in mass or suspension processes, usually in combination with other peroxides of varying degrees of activity to increase reactor efficiency. When combined with CUPN (Cumyl peroxyneodecanoate) and LPO (Lauroyl peroxide), it enhances reactivity, working efficiently within a polymerization temperature range of 40-65°C.

● XJ-BCHPC is is an initiator for suspension polymerization of acrylates and methacrylates .

● XJ-BCHPC  also serves as a curing agent for unsaturated polyesters, particularly for high-end products requiring a wide temperature range.

BCHPC shows a high reactivity at elevated temperature, which is demonstrated by it low activation temperature, in combination with a relatively long pot life at ambient temperatures. It is mostly used in combination with a low reactive peroxide to ensure a good final cure. These peroxide combinations can successfully be used for those applications where a long gel time is required at room temperature in combination with a fast cure at elevated temperatures of 60°C to 140°C. Applications areas can be cure-in-place-pipe (CIPP), pultrusion, filament winding, manufacturing of artificial marble. When combined with XJ-TBPB and XJ-CH, it offers superior curing properties.

XJ-BCHPC is equivalent to Nouryon PERKADOX 16 , Pergan PEROXAN BCC .
